Dignity, Seriousness, and Duty

Incredible. Having a terrible day. What did I do to deserve this? I remember the time I walked a mile in someone else’s shoes. That day was even worse. Have you ever opened a tin of corned beef at an inappropriate time?

I’m just trying to make sense of the senseless.

Whenever I am angry with someone, I always make a point of walking a mile in their shoes. Then they are a mile away from me. And they have no shoes.

Corned beef tin-opening is an oft-overlooked skill. Some of us simply choose never to try at all. God bless you for your adventurous spirit.

Right. At least I try. They always laugh at me until they see my success. Then they're all, "Oh, you're so amazing, oh, you've saved our lives, oh, we're so sorry we raided your gun room and left you behind when all the zombie shit went down."
