What a Friend You Have in EWP
I feel sorry for the people who clicked onto my blog today. Nothing here. Just that terrible Groundhog Day screenplay that gets progressively more tedious with each blast of wind. Why not go read Stephen Baldwin, or Outer Life, or Misspent? I’d read these terrific blogs myself, but reading blogs is a colossal drain on my time. Really, I just shuffle through my bookmarks, scanning for my name or for chances to win major international sweepstakes. No practical man would read blogs for any other reason.

what about www.thedailybuckman.typepad.com?

Your name is on my blog. If you will call me, I will say your name breathlessly, increasing with intesity and pitch until I collapse on the floor. Then maybe we can go eat Buffalo wings.
I wouldn't read my blog today. It's all about moose and yak and elk and stag and deer and wildebeest or however you spell it. I am talkin' some serious herd instinct blues

No one reads Outer Life. They just say they do. This week it's fashionable to be seen with Outer Life on your computer screen. Next week it's Baldwin's turn on the runway.

No one reads my blog ever, except when I advertise on prime real estate. Then the hundreds of people who come by leave quickly, bitterly disappointed in the results of their questionable mousing efforts.
Esther,
I do not deserve your link, especially in such good company as Baldwin and OL. I do not deserve your lik because I have been thinking ill of you as of late. I must be honest with you now.
It is petty and cruel, but I am jealous of all these new people that read your site and comment all the time. I liked the old Esther where no one except for the rare Anonymous and your pal Chris would comment. You were our spastic and insane world wide web woman, just a few of us lucky souls. Your site was pure Esther, without any other voices sullying your filth.
Now you are sharing your delusions with more people and I am afraid. Afraid that we will lose the old Esther, afraid that these newcomers, while entirely in their rights to enjoy what you do, will give this site a new tone. I try to fall back on the wise words of some sage, "If you love someone, let them free," but I can't. I just can't.
Esther, be true. Don't let these "You're site is awesome" comments change you. Stay Our Esther, stay.

Please, peoples. A show of self-confidence for the cameras. Your blogs will be duly ignored until we unionize. PBS tells me so. They may have been talking about banana farmers or spats retailers, but surely it applies to us as well.
Misspent- in the words of the poet Terminator X, "homey don't play dat."
I'm not exactly sure what he meant, but perhaps these words will help you through the dark times. Works for me. XOXOXO
Esther -- Your site is AWESOME!
Homey the Clown was a wise, wise, wise clown. His words to comfort me.
